tantrums and dummy spitting.

Honestly there is no pleasing some people.  I have been a member of a group on Facebook for a while and this group run competitions.  The last few comps have been guess a number but they never say what the options were.  I posted after the last winner was drawn and said that it might be an idea to put a ball park figure on the comp.   This apparently caused a riot (none of which I have seen) and the owner of the group kicked off at me huge style and banned me from the group.  I have apologied publicly on the group twice but apparently the owner in her words didn't like the comment.

heating

we have a heating mystery.  We don't normally use the hot water becasue we don't have a bath in our house just a wet room which has an electric shower.  Our electric appliances that need water take in cold water and heat it up.  As I had to do a huge load of floor washing and washing down paintwork I put the system on.  Low and behold the flipping thing has gone mad, it's heating the radiators as well and I can' cool them down.  Phoned the housing people and they are coming to investigate on Monday. 

Well it looks like Mocha is fighting fit today which is more than can be said about me.  Today I have a nasty cough, runny nose, sore throat,  head that feels like it will explode at every cough and feel generally crap.  First cold of the winter me thinks.

Mocha has happily munched the rice mixture but turned his nose up at his own food, mind you with roast chicken on the menu you can't really blame him.  I know what I would rather have lol.

Anyway today will be mostly hot fluids and dozing when I can.  Hubby is at home till about 1.30 so I will be fine to snuggle down till then, after that it's hope that Mocha will sleep for a bit to let me snuggle.

I am not a good patient so bring on the drugs.  I think we have some cold remedy stuff somewhere.

puppy update

Further news on the puppy he obviously isn't properly ill as he has just eaten a bowl of rice with boiled eggs and chicken chopped through it and is now bouncing round the house in his usual "its nearly bed time" way.  He always has a mad half hour about now and it is normal service from him.  phew!!

oh dear this is not good, puppy has been vomiting and has loose bowels.  I know it can't be the nasty awful thing as he is properly immunised, he wants to eat so that's a good sign.  He is a terrible chewer so he might have chewed on something that might have caused the upset.  Think he will be on the rice, boiled egg and chicken diet for a couple of days.  Which reminds me must buy some eggs.

I wonder why I have such an suspcious nature.  I have a new friend on Facebook but am questioning why they would friend me.  The person is a youngish male from Pakistan who insists on calling me good mother. I've noticed that I often question people's motives for befriending me.  No faith in human nature I suppose, maybe thats why I surround myself with animals.

Man came to see the messy ceiling today, he has decided it has to be replaced.  I will apparently have to empty my bedroom, but no one can suggest where we are supposed to empty it to.  Also discovered that the insulation they keep on about doing is that the wet insulation is to be removed and replaced.  Why did no one tell us that? all they kept saying was the loft was to be insulated.  Some folk.  It is so true that what was drummed into us in uni, communication is crutial and correct communication even more so.

naughty dogs

getting really frustrated by the behaviour of our oldest dog.  She has turned quite nasty towards our middle dog, attacking him when hubby comes home.  She has done this before and it stopped but the last couple of days she has had him and positively tried to kill.  I would blame the introduction of the puppy but he has been living here for 7 weeks now.  Hope it all sorts itself out soon as the middle dog is looking nearly as depressed as me. :(

The other day I heard from DSS that my application to be moved over into the support group had been knocked back.  The lady who phoned me encouraged me to appeal so I contacted the psychiatrist secretary to get his notes on me sent over to me.  They arrived the day and based on them I don't stand a chance.  He has gotten stuff wrong on his report including saying that I moved here when I was 11 when in fact I moved here 11 years ago.  Apparently I show signs of being depressed and also he told me to stop those pills as they were making me drowsy, no he didn't.  He said to persevere with them.  I'll send the forms in but won't hold my breath :(

ok so nothing much happened today except I set up this blogger thing.  I've tried these before and always forget to update so this may well be the only entry ever.  We will see.
